Saturday 13 April 2013, 1st Australian Steelband Festival, Marysville
Jammin' were the lead-off band in the recent 1st Australian Steelband Festival, and they really set the scene for a fabulous day of steelband music from around Australia. They captured many hearts in the audience and gave a great account of themselves, as demonstrate din this video produced by Barry Thomas from VideoVision.
Here are some more snaps of Jammin', taken by the bevy of volunteer Festival photographers.
Saturday 29 October 2011, Marysville, Calypso Night, Crossways Inn
The first big gig of the season was the Calypso Night at the Crossways Inn in Marysville, where all three Triangle Community Steelbands played individually and as a massed band. This was followed by the Badjohns playing late into the night. It had originally been scheduled as an outdoor concert for the TCS bands, but bad weather forced us indoors (cosy!).
Lennox Jordan and the Badjohns stayed over the weekend and ran a couple of workshops for the bands on the Sunday.
