Sunday 8 November 2015, Marysville Marathon, Marysville

For the fifth year running, the band(s) played at the Marysville Marathon Festival, the brainchild of baritone player (and ultra-marathon runner) Lachlan Fraser. A heathy bunch of runners took part in various events with distances ranging from 4km to 50km.

The band set up in the RACV marquee in front of the Pans on Fire plaque in the 1000 Hands exhibit on the edge of the lake in Gallipoli Park, and then proceeded to play several sets as runners returned to the park and before and after the prize giving ceremonies.

This year we were assisted in keeping the crowd entertained by “stiltman”, who amazed the audience with his juggling and other skills on stilts.
